Privacy policy
Protecting your right to privacy onlineYour online privacy is as important to me as my own. This website will not collect any personally identifiable information from you during your visit. The counter / tracker used on this site does collect information from your computer, such as the type of browser you use (Internet Explorer 6 for example), the screen resolution of your monitor, the link you followed to get to this site and so on. None of this information allows an individual person to be identified. It does however allow me to improve the site to meet the requirements of visitors. The counter / tracker used on this site may also store a small file called a 'cookie' on your computer. Cookies help the counter / tracker to work more effectively by identifying individual computers. They do not however allow an individual person to be identified. If you e-mail me with comments about this site, suggestions for new links and so on, your e-mail address will be stored as part of your e-mail, on my computer. I will not share your e-mail address with any other individual or organisation without your express permission. To minimise the risk of unintentional disclosure of your e-mail address through viruses, trojan horses or remote access to my computer, I run and regularly update firewall and anti-virus programmes. Also, before downloading my e-mails I check them with a programme called Mailwasher and delete all of those identified as spam or carrying viruses so that they never get downloaded to my PC.
